چند سال قبل که تو یک شرکت کامپیوتری مشغول بودم ، یک دوستی داشتم که کارشناس حرفه ای شبکه های کامپیوتری بود. می گفت تحقیق کرده، سازمان ناسا برای کنترل ماهواره هایی که تو فضا داره، از یک Main Frame استفاده میکنه، در صورتی که این Main Frame از کار بیفته، یکی دیگه با همون مشخصات به سرعت شروع به فعالیت میکنه و کنترل رو به دست میگیره ازش پرسیدم اگر دومی هم از کار بیفته چه اتفاقی میفته؟ میگفت که یه Main Frame سومی وارد میشه و کنترل رو به دست میگیره… گفتم اگر سومی هم از کار بیفته؟ گفت: ناسا میگه اگر قرار باشه سه تا Main Frame ما از کار بیفته، بهتره که ماهواره ها به زمین برخورد کنند…
Few years ago, when I was working in IT company, my friend who was an
expert in computer network told me: I have researched to know How NASA
controls its sattelite around the world.
He found that NASA uses one
mainframe computer to control and two for backup. If the first
mainframe doesn't work and it could not control the satellites second
mainframe controsl them.I asked him, if the second one doesn't work,
What will happen to satellites? He replied, so third mainframe
controls, again I asked him, what will happen when third one goes out
of order. He responded: NASA said if the three mainframes are crashing,
it will better for sattelites to fall on earth.!!!
